Yes. Stranger Than Heaven is coming to Game Pass on its release day, Jan 15, 2027: the Xbox Store lists it under "Coming to these subscriptions" as Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, the latter marked "PC only." Xbox's own page says it is playable day one with Game Pass and is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, and SEGA lists Xbox Cloud among its platforms. Game Pass gives you the game itself; no source read for this page says it includes the Deluxe Edition's items. The clip is the end card of the May 2026 Xbox Presents broadcast, which still said "coming this winter" and carried the Xbox Play Anywhere and Game Pass marks.

Which Game Pass tiers include it?
The Xbox Store names two: Game Pass Ultimate, which covers Xbox console, PC and cloud play, and PC Game Pass, for PC only. It names no other tier as of Nov 3, 2026, so a member on another plan should check the store before launch. SEGA's 1 million wishlists announcement also lists Xbox Game Pass beside Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam and PS5.
Can you play it on Xbox Cloud?
Yes. SEGA lists Xbox Cloud among the platforms, which lets Game Pass Ultimate members stream it rather than install it. Cloud streaming quality and supported devices are Microsoft's, not SEGA's, and were not described for this game in any source read.
What is Play Anywhere?
Buying the game once on the Xbox Store covers both the Xbox Series X|S and the PC version from the Microsoft Store. Xbox's page lists Stranger Than Heaven as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. It does not cover the Steam or PlayStation versions. All platforms are on Platforms.
Does Game Pass include the Deluxe Edition?
Not that anyone has said. The Xbox Store sells the Standard and Deluxe Editions separately, at $69.99 and $89.99, and SEGA sells a Deluxe Upgrade for owners of the base game. No source read for this page says Game Pass members get the Deluxe items or the pre-order weapon Dosu: Kagekiri. What the Deluxe items are is on Editions and Price, and the bonus on Pre-order Bonus.
